One degree off. That's all it takes.

One degree off. That's all it takes.

Imagine you're deep in the forest, navigating with a compass. Your destination is due north. But you set out just one degree off. Doesn't seem like much—just a small degree, a whisper of error. But walk that path long enough, and you'll find yourself miles away from where you intended to go.

That's how life works too.

It's not the big events or disasters that wreck us. It's not the storms. We see and survive those. What destroys us are the quiet compromises. The 'just this once' decisions. The skipped workout. The extra midnight snacks. The ignored prayer. The little money spent we didn't budget for. The apology we postponed. The late nights scrolling. The early mornings we slept in and woke up late.

One degree off, repeated daily, becomes a completely different life.

And that's the trap most us fall into—not from a lack of strength, but from a lack of awareness. Drifting.

So ask yourself: where are you one degree off?

Where are you tolerating small misalignments? In your faith? Your discipline? Your finances? Your relationships?

The good news is that course correction is always possible—but the longer you delay, the harder it gets.

Start now. Recalibrate. Make the micro-adjustments. You hold the compass.

Otherwise, one degree off, you may end up where you don't want to go.

Don't drift. Take Command.
